The manufacturing of PRIM-strings started 60 yeras ago by Gunnar Fröjel, who worked as a professional musician in Stockholm.

He started with manufacturing of strings in small scale, for himself and other musicians in the orchestra. The popularity of the string increased, and became a small industry with export all over the world.

Today the manufacturing is located in a suburb north of Stockholm, and the company is managed by his son,

Urban Fröjel with family and staff.

The strings are manufactured in modern computerised machines and by staff with long experience of string manufacturing. This gives a high and even quality at the same time as the price can be kept low.

Today the PRIM-string is well known all over the world.
The export outside Sweden is nearly 80%.
