Prim is the only manufacturer of strings designed especially for the typical Swedish instrument Nyckelharpa.

We manufacture the 4 playing strings but not the sympathetic strings.

The strings are available in various tensions:
A(1) is available in Soft, Medium and as unwound (solid core) 0.47 mm, 0.50 mm, 0.525 mm and 0.550 mm.

C(2) is available in Medium and Orchestra

G(3) is available in Soft, Medium and Orchestra

C(4) is available in Soft and Medium

There is also a SET of all Medium strings available.
